Brunei on Tuesday recorded two COVID-19 cases in Category 5 that requires treatment in the intensive care unit and five cases in Category 4 that requires respiratory assistance and close monitoring, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said in a press statement.
No COVID-19 fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours, it added.
The MoH reported 74.7 per cent of the country’s population have received the third dose of COVID-19 vaccine while 6.4 per cent have received the fourth shot.
Meanwhile, 79.3 per cent of children aged five to 11 have received their second dose and 52.8 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have received the third vaccine.
A total of 1,328 cases have recovered, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 198,541.
