Personnel of Company ‘C’ Police Reserve Unit, Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) foiled an attempted smuggling of alcohol into the country and detained three suspects – two locals and a foreigner – who were allegedly involved in Kampong Junjongan on Monday.
The illegal activity was spotted at 4.40pm by Company ‘C’ personnel of the Police Reserve during a patrol.
After discovering the contraband, personnel found 16 boxes of black packages containing 284 bottles of alcohol.
The suspects, contraband and their vehicle were brought to the Limau Manis Police Station for further investigation.
