346 new cases recorded on Thursday bringing the total COVID-19 tally to 137,585 cases

Brunei Darussalam’s daily COVID-19 cases continue its steady decline to 346 on Thursday. Of the new cases, 320 were from antigen rapid test (ART) and 26 from 632 RT-PCR laboratory tests performed in the past 24 hours.

 

With the latest infections, the total COVID-19 tally is 137,585 cases. No COVID-19 deaths were reported.

 

This was revealed by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar at the daily press conference.

 

Some 523 cases were declared recovered on Thursday bringing the recoveries to 134,632.

 

The total number of active cases are 2,739 with 51 patients being treated at hospitals and 2,688 undergoing home self-isolation.

 

The minister said there are two cases in Category 5 needing treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) and two patients in Category 4 requiring oxygen assistance who are under
close monitoring.
