His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam will leave for Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to attend the World Climate Action Summit which is being held on December 1-2 during the 28th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 28).
His Majesty is expected to attend the World Climate Action Summit, along with other heads of state and government.
The summit – which also marks His Majesty’s first time attending the high-level segment of the COP – will welcome world leaders to present the progress and ambitions across all pillars of the Paris Agreement, providing momentum and guidance for the remainder of the COP.
