The secret ingredient for the 7th Brunei Film Blitz is nasi katok.
This was announced at the launch of the short film competition at Mahakarya Institute of the Arts on Wednesday.
The 96-hour film blitz expects participants to produce a three to six-minute short film within four days with nasi katok having a significant role in the storytelling.
The 7th Brunei Film Blitz saw 70 registrations, three times the number last year, with some 85 per cent of production companies from the region.
