His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince, Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, as the Chief Scout of the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD), on Thursday said scouting activities contribute towards fostering friendship and strengthening regional and global unity.
During a sabda at the closing ceremony of the 5th Brunei Darussalam National Jamboree, His Royal Highness welcomed the participation of international scout members.
Since it was established in 1933, His Royal Highness said, the scouting movement in Brunei has steadily progressed, following the trends and developments of the scouting movement worldwide.
