Gunners emerged champions in the men’s category of the Brunei Fastpitch Softball Open 2023 after a closely-fought 1-0 win against Black Arrows 1 in the final at the Berakas Sports Complex on Sunday.
The decisive point came in the seventh inning following an accurate hit from Pengiran Musa bin Pengiran Haji Jaafar.
With Gunners having two runners on the second and third bases, Pengiran Musa landed the crucial hit to the right of the field, subsequently earning the victory after scoring two runs.
