Magistrate Abdul ‘Azim bin Othman on Tuesday handed a three years’ jail with five whipping sentence to Mas Fadilah bin Pungut for possessing an offensive weapon in public and stabbing another man.
Mas Fadilah pleaded guilty to carrying the knife and stabbing ‘Si Jebon’ in the chest at a flat in Kampong Belimbing Subok on December 13.
Prosecutor Kamal Ariffin bin Ismail earlier revealed that at 4.40pm that day, the defendant went to the flat where his mother lived when he heard ‘Si Jebon’ shouting at children playing football in the open space below the flat.
