The team of five received a heroes’ welcome when they completed the 130-kilometre charity run from Kuala Belait to Serasa Beach on Sunday morning.
The runners – Raymond Pang, Eric Pui, Jan Shim, Jin Ng and Michelle Chong – began their run on January 5 at 10pm and completed the challenge at 8.45am on Sunday.
Pang said he is glad the team finished the run despite inclement weather, from heavy rains to high heat. Adding to the challenge were blisters and cramps.
