Foreign envoys on Sunday shared praises of the royal wedding ceremonies between His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Anisha Rosnah binti Adam hailing it as an event with cultural significance.
Ambassador of China to Brunei Darussalam Xiao Jianguo said he was fascinated by some unique traditions, such as Majlis Istiadat Berbedak Pengantin Diraja.
“I was invited to seven ceremonies, each of them focused on a specific procedure. This is a very precious chance to witness those in person, because all of the unique details are cultural epitomes of Brunei, formed through hundreds of years,” he said.
