Politeknik Brunei (PB) has updated one of its learning structures for this year’s intake, where the duration of 18 programmes under Level 5 Diploma has been changed from three years to 30 months, taking into account the regulations and guidelines issued by the Brunei Darussalam National Accreditation Council (BDNAC) as well as advice from the industry.
This was shared by PB Acting Director Lim Kian Boon in his welcoming remarks at the orientation ceremony for PB’s 13th intake at the Lifelong Learning Centre(L3C) in Lambak Kanan on Tuesday.
Eight Level 5 Diploma programmes have also been given a rebranding to align with the needs of industry and other higher learning institutions. The programmes are: Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Marketing Strategies, Diploma in Human Capital Management, Diploma in Cloud and Networking, Diploma in Applications Development and Diploma in Electronic and Communication Engineering.
