The Ministry of Education (MoE), through the Department of Examinations, released the Brunei-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examination results on Thursday.
At the national level, 5,738 candidates sat for the exam in the October/November 2023 session, out of which 5,621 or 97.96 per cent were school candidates and 117 were private candidates.
Out of this number, 1,135 or 19.78 per cent of the candidates scored eight ‘O’ levels and IGCSE above while 2,512 or 43.78 per cent got five ’O’ levels and IGCSE above and 2,946 candidates or 51.34 per cent got minimum four ‘O’ levels.
