United States (US) Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Caryn McClelland visited the Teng Yun Temple (To’Kong China Brunei Darussalam) on Friday.
The ambassador, who toured the temple and gained an in-depth knowledge on the history of the oldest temple in the Sultanate, said; “We thoroughly enjoy the temple’s rich history, its cultural significance and the beauty of it. It is truly an honour to be here. As we approach the Lunar New Year, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the millions of Asian-Americans in the US who will celebrate this special holiday.”
