Two F-35s from the Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska touched down at Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Base in Rimba on Friday.
The Pacific Air Forces unit is in the Sultanate for a familiarisation with the aircraft and to build upon working relationships with RBAirF.
Commander of RBAirF Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim met the F-35 crew and maintenance team for a tour of the aircraft as well as introduction to the aircraft capabilities.
