The Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) was allocated a budget of BND138,394,150 for the 2024-2025 financial year during the 20th session of the Legislative Council meeting on Wednesday.
Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha said BND113,584,280 will be used for normal expenses including staff salaries and recurring expenses, while the remaining BND24,809,870 will fund expenses under the 12th National Development Plan (RKN 12) which is 14 per cent of the RKN 12 Plan Price.
