Six US bound for leadership programme (19.04.2024)

Five students and a teacher from the Tutong Sixth Form Centre (PTE Tutong) selected to participate in this year’s Southeast Asia Youth Leadership Programme (SEAYLP), left for the United States (US) on Friday.

 

The delegation includes teacher Nurul Hadina binti Haji Alias and students, Mohammad Adi Daniel bin Mohammad Ramle, Adrian Iskandar bin Mohamad Gadaffi, Muhammad Fahrin bin Muhammad Juleezam, Nur Farisha binti Mohd Shukriwan and Nur Batrisya binti Dzul’izzie Abi’rafdhyie. US Embassy and Ministry of Education (MoE) officials were present at the send-off ceremony at the Brunei International Airport including Acting Senior Special Duties Officer (Corporate) of the Department of Schools Haji Juma’ata Sonadey bin Haji Mornie.

 

This year marks the 12th SEAYLP exchange programme for Bruneians since its inauguration in 2009, said US Embassy Public Affairs Officer Katherine Ntiamoah.
