The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports futsal team (Team MCYS) emerged victorious in a friendly futsal match organised by the High Commission of Malaysia in Brunei Darussalam in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam on Monday.
In the friendly tournament at the High Commission’s futsal court, futsal teams from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and High Commission of Malaysia (HCM) finished second and third places. Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Dato’ Raja Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah played for Team HCM.
Senior government officers, Permanent Secretary at the MFA Haji Muhamad Fakhri bin Haji Mohd Taib, Permanent Secretary (Sports) at the MCYS Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud and Permanent Secretary (Culture) at the MCYS Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan also participated in the match.
