Some 810 kilogrammes of waste was collected on Sunday during a cleaning campaign organised by the Ministry of Education (MoE) through Department of Administration and Services in collaboration with the Department of Planning and Estate Management.
The cleaning campaign was conducted along Mukim Lumapas and Mukim Sungai Kebun roads.
The campaign aimed to support the Executive Committee on Cleanliness Issues’ (JIIK) initiative to keep the Sultanate clean and free from pollution, while increasing awareness among the public on the importance of keeping their surroundings clean.
