The Brunei Darussalam Sports School Council Under-16 (MS SSBD) collected valuable points in the race for second place following a 4-1 win against Arabic School in the penultimate weekend of the HiTune Sports School Youth Football League Challenge 2024.
The win helped Pengiran Serfuddin bin Pengiran Haji Md Salleh’s young charges climb to second spot heading into the final fixture.
The Sports School took the lead at the FABD Field through Ampuan Md Izzul Hasif before Arabic School pegged back through Md Fakrullah Saifullah.
Nevertheless, a second Ampuan Md Izzul Hasif goal either side of Muhd Aqil Haziq Jaafar’s brace completed a comfortable win for Sports School.
Arabic School Head Coach Haji Adee Suharde accepted defeat to his young charges adding that their participation allowed them to showcase their potential.
Kasuka FC under-16 wrapped up the title with a game to spare following a 6-1 win over Dash FA last weekend. The eight-team league will come to a close today.
