SEOUL (ANN/THE KOREAN HERALD) – Four members of K-pop sensation BTS – RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook – are set to complete their mandatory military service next week, according to a statement from Big Hit Music.

In a notice shared via Hybe’s global fandom platform Weverse on Saturday, the agency confirmed that RM and V will be discharged on June 10, while Jimin and Jungkook will follow on June 11.

The agency advised fans not to gather at the discharge sites, citing safety concerns.

“There will be no official event held on the day of their discharge,” said Big Hit Music. “We are concerned about potential safety hazards caused by overcrowding, as the site is shared with many other soldiers and is a confined space.”

The statement added that the safety of both the artists and fans remains the agency’s top priority, and urged supporters to refrain from visiting military facilities.

Suga, who is currently fulfilling his service as a social service worker, is scheduled to complete his alternative service on June 21.

The group’s oldest members, Jin and J-Hope, were discharged in June and October 2024 respectively, and have since resumed their solo careers.
