Haj officers leave for Saudi Arabia (03.06.2022)

A group of 11 Haj officers of the Brunei Darussalam for the Haj season for 1443 Hijrah (Advance Party) comprising five administrative officers and six medical officers left for Saudi Arabia on Thursday on flight BI 519.

 

Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman and Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar bade farewell to the delegation at Brunei International Airport.

 

The delegation, led by head of the Haj Management Department Haji Abdullah bin Haji Mohamad, will make initial preparations for the management of Haj affairs with the relevant parties in Saudi Arabia before the arrival of pilgrims from the Sultanate.

 

The first flight for pilgrims from Brunei for the Haj season for 1443 Hijrah is scheduled to depart on June 15, and the second flight on June 16.
