Brunei Darussalam recorded one COVID death on Monday, the Ministry of Health said in a statement on COVID-19.
There are three cases in Category 4 that require respiratory assistance while two Category 5 cases are receiving treatment at the intensive care unit.
The COVID-19 vaccination coverage for the populace having received the third dose stands at 73.7 per cent, while 4.1 per cent have been administered the fourth dose of the vaccine.
A total of 77.1 per cent of children aged five to 11 years have been double dosed, while 51.2 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 years have received the third dose.
A total of 1,585 recoveries were recovered on Monday, bringing the number of recovered cases to 173,623.
